Giant leisure, hospitality and entertainment corporation, Genting Malaysia Berhad, which owns the 6118-room First World Hotel at the famous Resorts World Genting in the Malaysian Highlands, has partnered with channel manager, SiteMinder, to distribute a combined 10,000-room inventory to third party booking websites to generate online bookings and optimise their distribution around the world.
Dubbed the 'Fun City Above the Clouds' and often billed as the Las Vegas of south east Asia, Resorts World Genting is a huge, mountain-top resort complex including the two, brightly painted 28-storey towers of First World Hotel, which is ranked as the world's third largest hotel after Moscow's 7500-room Izmailovo Hotel and the 6582-room MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
