Personal Video Recorder (PVR) -- Similar to personal video recording capabilities that many guests have become accustomed to at home, this feature enables guests to select programs to record from NXTV's on-screen electronic program guide for later viewing.
Internet Radio -- This feature leverages NXTV's IP-based platform, making hundreds of radio stations from around the world available to the guest.
Advertising -- NXTV is introducing a range of advertising options, enabling delivery of national and local advertising as well as allowing hoteliers to advertise their own local offerings. NXTV's platform enables interactive advertising -- allowing a guest to click-through ads to receive additional information, either through a full-motion video spot or a micro-site.
Enhanced Electronic Program Guide with Picture in Picture -- NXTV has improved upon its electronic program guide, now enabling the guest to continue viewing the television program they were watching while browsing through the guide. The picture-in-picture function can also be used to deliver advertising while the guest is viewing the guide -- enhancing revenue for the hotel operator.
Room Automation -- NXTV has integrated with leading in-room control/automation vendors to offer more convenience and control to hotel guests. In-room automation enables guests to control various hotel room functions such as lights or temperature through their TV using the NXTV remote control. Additionally, working with NXTV, the property can define money-saving procedures that ensure lights are turned off and thermostats are raised when a room is checked out.
IPod Dock Integration -- Many guests travel with their favorite music collection on their iPod or iPhone. Now, when a hotel adds a NXTV-certified iPod dock, the guest can conveniently listen to music or view video's stored on the iPod or iPhone through the television, while making selections with the NXTV remote control.
Auxiliary Device Integration -- Increasingly, guests that stay at four- and five-star hotels expect to be treated to a premium audio-video experience. NXTV recognizes this, and works with our customers to ensure seamless integration with leading home theatre devices.
